Asher's New Room And A Review Mixed In

Yes folks, it's a review. Pipe down, I've only done 1 other review in the history of this blog and in light of the recent backlash against blogger reviews and giveaways I felt I needed to point that fact out. Besides, this one's a good one. Oh and it's my blog, I can write whatever I want to. PR is not the boss of me!

Poor Asher fell to the bottom of the to do pile in terms of redecorating his new room. We got rid of the schizophrenic wall colors that were there when we moved in. This picture doesn't even come close to accurately portraying how the color made your eyeballs hurt. And once that was done I found some curtains for the window but the walls remained bare until a couple of weeks ago. A little help from PR and tada! Check out the result.
I was contacted by CNS Stores and All Modern Baby to do a product review. They told me I could choose the product to review and I swear that little cartoon lightbulb popped up above my head. Score! Let's see what I could get for Asher's room. After deciding against groveling for some new furniture - damn that price limit! - from the Stokke Sleepi collection, I chose the Dyno-MITE Removable Wall Decals. It's kind of an eclectic, read: odd, little collection of images but together they are really cute. The Sexy Beast made a face so I suggested returning them and buying something on our own. He came around rather quickly. Here are some close ups of the stickers.

Yes, that is a tree with headphones. There are parachute men, dinosaurs, rain clouds, lightening bolts, and stars. Remember, eclectic is the word of the day.
If you are in the market for some baby/kids room decor or furniture shop All Modern Baby online and try, just try not to fall in love with the Stokke Sleepi stuff.

Too bad if anyone has a problem with you doing the review. You're being totally up front and you're bringing something very cute to your readers' attention...That is quite the before and after. Love the room now!

I'm sure Asher loves it.
Anything is better than that purple and green!

Love, Love, Love them!! Funny how husbands change their tune when they realize the other option is going to cost them. Mine is the same way!

I must say that I LOVE removable wall decals. They are the best thing ever.

Those are way cute - I love the tree wearing headphones! Funkadelic!

Those little wall decals are the most unique and adorably rockin' decorations I've ever seen in a childs room. Hands down. I love them. I'm getting some. For my room. To hell with the kids.

I have to be honest here and say "NO". I don't think so. I think maybe if they were a bit bigger? But I guess they are a bit to elementary looking for me. The questions is does he like them? If Asher does then okay, after all you can peel and toss later right?

Those are REALLY cute!! My grandson loves dinosaurs, so that would be perfect for his playroom. The fact that they are removable is just awesome, so when he get older and wants is "too big" for the "baby room", you can just peel them off.
Plus, I have to say, if you want to do review, you do them, and if people who do them all the time want to take a week off, let them. Why can't we all get along??? OY??
